Job summary

JD Sports in the United Kingdom seeks a motivated Supervisor to oversee daily shop-floor operations, uphold JD’s high service standards, and lead a team across shifts. You’ll drive customer-focused service, ensure product presentation aligns with the brand, and support management in achieving sales targets.

As a hands-on leader, you will mentor colleagues, maintain store presentation, and promote JD values in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or team-leader experience in fast-paced retail or customer-facing environments.
• Strong communication skills with the confidence to guide and support colleagues on the shop floor.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to uphold high standards in service, presentation, and store operations.
• Knowledge of retail product trends and JD Group values.
• Energetic, hands-on leadership style in a busy, fast-moving store environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent JD service by supporting customers, resolving queries, and ensuring team presentation meets brand expectations.
• Support sales performance by monitoring service levels, using in-store devices to offer the full product range, and assisting with effective product placement.
• Maintain strong visual and operational standards by keeping the shop floor clean, organised, and aligned with JD’s brand expectations.
• Assist with daily operational duties including opening and closing procedures, cashing up, and supporting accurate till operations.
