Job summary

The White Company is seeking a Supervisor to provide visible leadership on the shop floor, supporting the team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and strong day-to-day performance. This role advances from performing tasks to guiding others, building confidence in people leadership and decision-making.

You will lead by example on delivering brand-led service, coaching teammates, and ensuring high standards of presentation and inclusivity across daily trading.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in retail or service-led environment.
• Passionate about people, with warmth, communication and example.
• Confident and proactive, with a solution-focused approach to challenges.
• Well organised, efficient, and attentive to detail.
• Motivated to develop leadership and commercial skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide visible leadership on the shop floor and support the team to deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Lead by example to deliver warm, personal, brand-led interactions and drive conversion.
• Offer in-the-moment coaching and feedback to build confidence and capability.
• Support onboarding and training of new starters and reinforce brand standards.
• Review basic sales KPIs (conversion, ATV, UPT) and help the team focus on priorities.
• Balance operational tasks with maintaining high standards of service and presentation.
• Escalate issues or opportunities to store management and contribute to action plans.
• Champion the digital in-store experience to deliver seamless multi-channel service.
