Job summary

JD Sports in the United Kingdom is recruiting a Floor Manager to lead the shop floor, drive sales, and deliver the JD service customers expect. You will coach a small team, uphold visual standards, and ensure the store runs smoothly across shifts.

This hands-on leadership role requires excellent communication, commercial awareness, and a passion for sport and customer experience. You’ll work closely with the management team to maintain high standards and help grow performance.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory experience in a fast-paced retail or customer-facing environment.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with proven experience supporting and developing team members.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to uphold high operational and visual standards.
• Solid commercial awareness with an understanding of how daily actions contribute to store KPIs and performance.

Responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding JD service standards, ensuring every customer receives fast, friendly, and professional support.
• Drive commercial performance through effective shop-floor execution, including merchandising, replenishment, and motivating the team.
• Lead and develop colleagues to maintain high performance, strong engagement, and consistent adherence to JD policies and processes.
• Support day-to-day store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and maintaining a clean, organised shop-floor environment.
