Job summary

JD Sports Fashion PLC in Southampton is seeking a proactive Supervisor to help run the shop floor, support colleagues across shifts and uphold our brand standards of service, presentation and store performance. You will also support daily operational tasks as directed by Store Management.

You will assist with opening/closing, till operations, and daily tasks while guiding teammates to deliver excellent customer service and promote the latest products.

Qualifications

• Must have supervisory or team-leader experience in fast-paced retail or customer-facing environments.
• Strong communication skills to guide and support colleagues on the shop floor.
• Excellent attention to detail to uphold high service, presentation and store standards.

Responsibilities

• Deliver excellent customer service by supporting customers, resolving queries, and ensuring team presentation meets brand expectations.
• Support sales performance by monitoring service levels, using in-store devices to offer the full product range, and assisting with effective product placement.
• Maintain strong visual and operational standards by keeping the shop floor clean, organised, and aligned with brand standards and company expectations.
• Assist with daily operational duties including opening and closing procedures, cashing up, and supporting accurate till operations.
