Job summary

JD Sports in Brighton is looking for a Store Colleague to deliver an outstanding customer experience on the shop floor. You will greet customers, help with product questions, keep displays sharp, replenish stock, and assist with daily store operations.

You will work as part of a team to meet sales goals, maintain high service standards, handle transactions, and follow health and safety procedures. A positive attitude, willingness to learn, and strong teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a positive and welcoming experience for customers, providing support and product information where required.
• Responsible for achieving team sales objectives by identifying customer needs, recommending suitable products, and promoting complementary items.
• Maintaining high standards of customer service.
• Maintain high standards of presentation across the shop floor, ensuring fixtures, displays, and stock areas are clean, organised, and well maintained.
• Replenish stock and ensure products are available and correctly displayed in line with company standards.
• Complete operational tasks including processing transactions, cash handling, stock processing, and preparing deliveries.
• Use in-store technology and systems to support customer enquiries and daily store operations.
• Follow company policies, procedures, and health and safety requirements at all times.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to support the effective day-to-day running of the store.
• Support with additional duties and tasks, as reasonably required.
