CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) is seeking a Service Manager to lead hard and soft FM services across a diverse UK retail portfolio. You will own service delivery across multiple sites, build strong client relationships and drive operational excellence, safety compliance and commercial performance.

The role requires proven leadership of engineering and operations teams, budget management and a proactive, solutions‑focused mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience within Facilities Management, M&E, engineering or a similar operational environment.
• Experience managing multiple sites across a geographically dispersed portfolio.
• Strong stakeholder management and customer relationship skills.
• Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate and develop teams.
• Commercial and financial management experience, including budget responsibility.
• Experience operating within retail, hospitality, or customer-focused environments.
• Excellent communication and influencing skills.
• A proactive, solutions-focused approach and commitment to service excellence.
• The ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.

• Supporting business continuity and minimising operational disruption
• Managing contract budgets and identifying opportunities for growth and improvement

• Ensuring compliance with all health, safety and statutory requirements
• Working collaboratively with supply partners to deliver outstanding service
• Using performance and asset data to drive efficiencies and continuous improvement
