Job summary

The Range is seeking an experienced Duty Manager to oversee daily store operations and lead a high-performing team at our Huntingdon location. You will focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences, coaching colleagues, and maintaining exceptional store standards.

Reporting to Store Management, you will manage customer flow, merchandising standards, health and safety, and daily procedures to ensure the store runs smoothly and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Previous retail supervisory, team leader or management experience.
• A passion for delivering outstanding customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational and problem-solving ability.
• The ability to motivate and support colleagues.
• Hands-on and flexible approach; confident in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Deliver a friendly, helpful and efficient customer experience at all times.
• Lead by example in providing excellent customer service.
• Support effective queue management and customer flow during busy periods.
• Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally.
• Promote a positive and engaging in-store experience.
• Support, motivate and guide store colleagues.
• Assist with colleague training, induction and development.
• Provide coaching and performance feedback.
• Help maintain a positive, productive and collaborative working environment.
• Ensure company policies and standards are consistently followed.
• Ensure the store is clean, organised and ready for trade each day.
• Maintain high merchandising and presentation standards.
• Support promotional activity and stock availability.
• Monitor deliveries, stock movement and warehouse organisation.
• Assist with opening and closing procedures.
• Support store security procedures including cash and stock control.
• Ensure health & safety procedures are followed at all times.
• Assist with accident logs, safety records and risk assessments.
• Monitor EPOS and pricing compliance.
• Ensure operational procedures are delivered accurately and consistently.
