Job summary

The Range is seeking a proactive Duty Manager to supervise our busy store in Staines. You will partner with the Store Manager to drive exceptional customer experiences, maintain high store standards, and support colleagues to perform at their best in a fast-paced environment.

As Duty Manager, you will lead by example on the shop floor, coach team members, ensure smooth operations, and uphold health & safety, merchandising, and compliance across daily activities.

Qualifications

• Previous retail supervisory, team leader or management experience.
• Experience in delivering outstanding customer service.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good organisational and problem-solving ability.
• Ability to motivate and support colleagues.
• Hands-on and flexible approach.
• Confidence working in a fast-paced retail environment.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily store operation to ensure excellent customer service, merchandising, compliance, health & safety and team performance.
• Lead colleagues on the shop floor, provide coaching and performance feedback, and support induction and development.
• Maintain store standards, organise stock, monitor deliveries and assist with opening/closing procedures.
• Support security procedures including cash and stock control and ensure EPOS and pricing compliance.
