Job summary

The Range in Leyland is seeking a proactive Duty Manager to support day-to-day store operations, deliver outstanding customer experiences and lead a high-performing team on the shop floor.

You will work closely with the Store Manager and Deputy Store Manager to maintain store standards, coaching colleagues, and ensuring smooth running of merchandising, stock control and health & safety procedures in a fast-paced retail environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in retail supervision or management
• Passion for delivering outstanding customer service
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Good organisational and problem-solving ability
• Hands-on and flexible approach
• Confidence in fast-paced retail environments

Responsibilities

• Deliver a friendly, helpful and efficient customer experience at all times
• Lead by example in providing excellent customer service
• Support queue management and customer flow during busy periods
• Resolve customer queries and complaints professionally
• Provide coaching and performance feedback to staff
• Maintain high merchandising and presentation standards
• Ensure health & safety procedures are followed
