Job summary

Iceland Foods Ltd in East London is seeking a committed Duty Manager to join our team. You will work as a Retail Assistant and receive a £2 per hour supplement for the time that you manage shifts, helping drive availability and customer service.

You will lead shift planning, support and develop colleagues, ensure cash handling and store processes are followed, and contribute to our inclusive, high-performing store culture with a customer-first approach.

Qualifications

• Experience in a retail management or supervisory role is ideal but not essential.
• Excellent communication with colleagues to deliver store tasks first time, every time.
• Plan and organise the shift using every member of the team.
• Provide balanced feedback to improve performance of colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Maximise profit by ensuring great availability for customers and supporting sales initiatives.
• Engage and retain great people by supporting store engagement and inclusivity.
• Follow cash handling and store security policies and deliver the best digital service via standard processes.
• Lead on shift with a hands-on approach to deliver a great store experience for customers.
