Job summary

Mole Valley Farmers Limited in Stamford is seeking a Customer Service Assistant to join our Retail team on a part-time basis. You will help create an exceptional shopping experience by delivering friendly service, handling stock, and assisting with product knowledge.

This role involves 6 hours per week, Sundays, with full training provided. You will help uphold our values and support store performance while maintaining accurate stock records and cash handling procedures.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required; full training will be provided.
• Strong retail disciplines and a passion for customer service.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good IT skills and ability to manage systems accurately; awareness of Health & Safety and GDPR.

Responsibilities

• Delivering excellent customer service that is friendly, respectful, and solution-focused
• Supporting the store team in maximising sales opportunities through product knowledge
• Taking ownership of a designated department and driving sales through merchandising and promotions
• Reviewing stock levels and adjusting seasonally to meet customer needs
• Processing goods inwards and maintaining stock file accuracy
• Ensuring visual merchandising standards are met and the store is well-presented
• Becoming proficient in cash handling and following company procedures
• Working in line with health & safety guidelines and GDPR compliance
