PureSeoul – The Home of K-Beauty in Birmingham is seeking an Assistant Supervisor to support daily store operations, motivate the Sales Assistant team, and ensure exceptional customer service on the shop floor.

You will delegate tasks, assist with recruitment and onboarding, manage stock checks and deliveries, and act as the on-site lead when the Store Manager is away, maintaining high standards and a smooth, engaging shopping experience.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and people management skills (retail 1 year+)
• Strong organisational and time-management abilities
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Responsabilités

• Motivate and support the Sales Assistant team to deliver excellent customer service on the shop floor.
• Delegate daily tasks and responsibilities effectively to team members.
• Assist with recruitment processes, including interviews and onboarding/offboarding.
• Report staff sickness and absence to the Store Manager and arrange emergency cover when needed.
• Process customer returns, staff purchases and apply discounts per company policies.
• Support Store Manager to train new employees and ensure health and safety compliance.
• Report facilities issues to the Store Manager or relevant department.
• Verify incoming deliveries and report discrepancies.
• Ensure product rotation and stock freshness through regular checks and delegation.
• Attend regular one-to-one meetings with the Store Manager and monitor progress.
• Lead daily stand-up meetings to align staff with store priorities.
• Provide excellent customer service and support daily retail operations for a smooth store experience.
