Job summary

Pureseoul is seeking an Assistant Supervisor in Birmingham to support day-to-day store operations, lead the Sales Assistant team, and ensure outstanding customer service on the shop floor. You will help delegate tasks, assist with recruitment, and step in as acting manager when required, while maintaining high standards and a welcoming in-store experience for Korean beauty customers.

Qualifications

• Retail experience in beauty/skincare preferred.
• Ability to lead a team and delegate tasks.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Able to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
• Willing to participate in recruitment and onboarding processes.

Responsibilities

• Motivate and support Sales Assistant team to deliver excellent service.
• Delegate daily tasks and responsibilities to team members.
• Assist with recruitment and onboarding processes.
• Report staff sickness and absence to Store Manager.
• Process returns, staff purchases, apply discounts per policy.
• Ensure new employees are trained and health & safety compliant.
• Report facilities issues to Store Manager.
• Verify deliveries and report discrepancies.
• Ensure product rotation and stock freshness.
• Lead daily stand-up meetings with store staff.
• Provide engaging in-store customer experience.
