A charity organization in Holywood is seeking a Retail Assistant to support the efficient operation of the Charity Shop. The ideal candidate will ensure excellent customer service and assist in stock management, working closely with volunteers. Applicants should have at least 2 years of cash handling experience, a commitment to animal welfare, and relevant educational qualifications. This role is vital for generating income to care for and rehome animals and offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact.
The Retail Assistant plays a key role in supporting the efficient, customer-focused and profitable operation of the Assisi Charity Shop. Under the guidance of the Shop Manager, the post holder will contribute to generating income that directly supports the care and rehoming of animals across Northern Ireland. The role requires excellent customer service, strong communication skills, and a positive, flexible approach. The Retail Assistant will help deliver a welcoming retail environment, maintain high standards of presentation, support volunteers, and uphold Assisi’s Mission, Vision, Values and Core Principles.
