Job summary

Dobbies Garden Centres Ltd. is seeking a Restaurant Team Leader to drive an exceptional customer experience across our restaurant areas. You will mentor Customer Advisors, support the management team and ensure smooth service.

In this fast-paced role you will coach staff, handle customer queries, promote the Dobbies Club, and ensure food safety standards and clean, welcoming dining spaces. You’ll work with the team to deliver outstanding hospitality and maintain a positive, can-do culture across

Qualifications

• Experience in a customer-facing role with hospitality passion.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Relevant food safety qualifications are an advantage but not essential.

Responsibilities

• Supporting and coaching other staff and deputising for management.
• Providing great customer service by assisting customers with transactions across the restaurant.
• Working with the team to ensure staff efficiency and high levels of service across all stations.
• Driving sales through customer interactions and promoting the Dobbies Club membership.
• Ensuring compliance with restaurant procedures, monitoring standards and following guidelines.
• Handling customer queries with product knowledge, including allergies and dietary requirements.
