1912 Hotels is seeking a welcoming, energetic Restaurant Supervisor for La Sala Sheffield to lead front-of-house service and support the management team in delivering warm, attentive hospitality. You will coordinate front-of-house colleagues, coach staff, and ensure smooth service with close collaboration with kitchen and bar teams.

Ideal candidates have supervisory experience in hospitality, excellent guest-service skills, and the ability to lead a team during busy services.

• Excellent guest-service skills and confident communication.
• Ability to organise a team and stay composed during busy services.
• Good understanding of food, beverages, allergens and restaurant operations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily restaurant service, ensuring guests receive a warm welcome and attentive care.
• Coordinate front-of-house colleagues and allocate responsibilities before and during service.
• Lead by example in service standards, product knowledge and professional presentation.
• Support reservations, table allocation, guest requests and the smooth flow of service.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve service issues promptly and professionally.
• Work closely with the kitchen and bar teams to maintain clear communication.
• Help train, coach and motivate team members, including new starters.
• Follow cash handling, payment, opening and closing procedures as required.
• Support compliance with food hygiene, allergen awareness, licensing and health and safety procedures.
• Assist management with stock awareness, shift handovers and operational improvements.
