Perle Hotels are delighted to be hiring two experienced and passionate Restaurant Managers in Portree. These roles will be working in two of our three hotels on the Isle of Skye (Marmalade & the Bracken Hide).

You will be running the breakfast service as well as the dinner service in our restaurants (Chargrill & Am Braigh). These are full-time and permanent roles working 5 days out of 7, Monday through to Sunday, 45 hours a week.

As the Restaurant Manager, you will report directly to the Food and Beverage Manager and will lead and manage the restaurant and breakfast team (supervisors & team members). Working closely with the Head Chef and (in Bracken Hide) the Bar Manager, you will ensure the delivery of an exceptional food & beverage guest experience, as well as train, recruit, and lead the front of house team.

This is a guest-facing position. We are looking for candidates who are passionate about guest service, have strong problem-solving and leadership skills, and take pride in their work. Prior experience with Resdiary, Lightspeed, Trustyou, and Rotacloud systems is preferred but not required.

Marmalade Hotel & Chargrill Restaurant

Set majestically in mature gardens, commanding views over the village of Portree, the loch, and the Cuillin Mountains, you will find Marmalade. The Bracken Hide Hotel & Am Braigh Restaurant

The Bracken Hide consists of 27 en-suite cosy Hides, scattered across the landscape, peaceful and private yet everything you need to hand. The Am Braigh restaurant offers the best of Skye produce, cooked elegantly, in a modern setting. The menu highlights the wide variety of produce, seafood, and delicacies from the amazing Skye larder.

  • Collaborating with the Food & Beverage Manager, Head Chef, and Bar Manager on new seasonal menu changes
