Job summary

RAD Hotel Group is seeking friendly Bar and Restaurant Staff for Brig o’ Doon House Hotel in Ayr. This part-time role involves greeting guests, taking orders, serving food and drinks, handling transactions, and keeping the dining area welcoming and tidy.

You’ll work with a team to deliver memorable guest experiences, with flexible midweek/evening/weekend shifts, weekly pay, and training opportunities provided by a historic venue with stunning river views.

Qualifications

• Availability including midweek, evenings and weekends.
• Positive, personable and friendly demeanor.
• Flexible to varying shift patterns to cover business needs.
• Previous restaurant experience is beneficial but not essential.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Positive, 'can do' attitude and professional presentation.

Join our team at Tales Restaurant, at Brig o’ Doon House Hotel, an iconic venue and popular dining destination. We’re looking for enthusiastic Bar and Restaurant Staff to help deliver exceptional guest experiences. As part of our service team, you’ll greet and seat guests, serve food and drinks, up-sell where appropriate, clear and reset tables, and occasionally assist with functions. You’ll play a key role in ensuring every guest leaves with a memorable experience.

Part of the award-winning, family-owned RAD Hotel Group, Brig o’ Doon House Hotel is a renowned destination for weddings, events, and hospitality. Enjoy breathtaking views of the River Doon, Burns Monument, and the historic Brig o’ Doon itself, the iconic setting for the dramatic climax of Robert Burns' famous poem, Tam o' Shanter.
