Job summary

RBH Hospitality Management in Edinburgh is seeking a friendly Food & Beverage Team Member to join Luckenbooths, a vibrant brasserie near the Royal Mile. You will welcome guests, take orders, serve food and drinks, and help maintain a high standard of presentation and service.

The role offers on-site dining room duties, opportunities to learn basic barista skills, teamwork with kitchen and bar, adherence to hygiene standards, and a supportive, flexible environment with employee benefits.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional approach with a passion for creating positive guest experiences.
• Prior food & beverage service experience is a plus, but willingness to learn is welcomed.
• Clear communication skills to interact confidently with guests and colleagues.
• Keen eye for detail in order accuracy and food presentation.
• Team-focused, ready to jump in and support others to keep service flowing.
• Flexibility and energy to thrive in a fast-paced setting, especially at peak times.

Responsibilities

• Welcome guests with a warm smile and attentive service, ensuring a memorable experience from start to finish.
• Take and process food and drink orders accurately, noting and fulfilling special requests.
• Serve food and drinks with care, maintaining high presentation standards and timely service.
• Set up, clean, and reset tables and service areas for an inviting dining space.
• Prepare and serve beverages, including basic barista duties and refreshing non-alcoholic options.
• Keep dining area stocked by assisting with inventory and restocking supplies.
• Uphold hygiene and health and safety standards in a spotless workspace.
• Collaborate with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a seamless service.

What you'll be doing...

• Uphold hygiene and health and safety standards, ensuring a spotless and compliant workspace.
• Work closely with kitchen and bar teams to deliver a seamless service, supporting each other for a smooth operation.
