Job summary

Valor Hospitality is seeking a Restaurant and Bar Manager to oversee the Bristol outlet. You will lead a team, drive service excellence, and manage budgets and forecasts while maintaining high standards of hygiene and safety.

The role requires strong leadership, effective communication, and a proactive approach to revenue and profitability. Flexible scheduling is available across seven days to support business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily food & beverage operations for the outlet to ensure top service standards.
• Maintain food hygiene and health & safety procedures across the team.
• Plan budgets and review monthly forecasts for revenue and expenditure.
• Carry out duty management shifts as needed to support operations.
• Analyse month-end performance and report deviations from business plan goals.
• Collaborate with Head Chef, Conference & Events Manager and Operations Manager.
• Prepare and present post-mortem promotion reports to the General Manager.

£31,000 - £33,000 per annum + Service Charge. 40 Hoursper week across 5 days.

Are you a strong leader with interpersonal and training skills? Agood communicator who isservice-oriented with an eye for details? A team player and a team motivator?

You enjoy implementing and maintaining control measures to ensure that food and beverage costs, productivity, labour costs and operating supply costs for the outlet are in line with budget. You are able to plan budgets and review forecast forrevenue and expenditure on monthly basis. To carry out Duty Management shifts according to business needs. To analyse and submit month-end reports and identify deviation from business plan goals. To participate in management meetings to review progress towards achievement of business plan goals and develop the annual business plan related for the outlet. To plan, implement and measure profit enhancement programs by working with the kitchen and sales department. To prepare and submit post-mortem promotion report to General Manager upon completion of promotion.

A Restaurant and BarManager is responsible for the daily management of the food and beverage outlets, ensuring that the highest standards of food and beverage service are provided to the guests. The Restaurant and BarManager plans, organizes and directs the overall Food and Beverage operation, administration, marketing and promotion of the outlet, and is responsible and accountable for its profitability and revenue generation.

You have good understanding of food hygiene and health and safety procedures.

Prepare weekly and monthly forecasts for restaurant, bar and room service.

Ensure constant liaison with the Head Chef, Conference and Events Manager and Operations Manager.

We are open 7 days a week 365 days a year and need people to work a range of shifts and days - this means great flexibility if required. We are busier generally during evenings and weekends but shift patterns and contracted hours can all be discussed at interview.
