Butlins Splash is seeking an Assistant Manager to help run the resort pool and water facilities. You will lead frontline staff, maintain safety and cleanliness, and deliver high-quality guest experiences aligned with brand standards.

The role requires supervision of lifeguards, coordination of shift patterns, and ensuring compliance with PSOP and health & safety regulations. A proactive, guest-focused leader with strong communication is essential.

Qualifikationen

• NPLQ or equivalent lifeguard qualification required.
• Experience in a leisure/pool environment preferred.
• Experience supervising or leading a team.
• Strong understanding of pool safety and operations.
• Good communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work shifts including evenings and weekends.
• Confident decision-maker in fast-paced environments.
• Safety-first mindset and proactive approach.
• Visible and supportive leader with a calm under pressure demeanor.
• Guest-focused and a team player.

Aufgaben

• Support daily operation of pool and water feature areas.
• Ensure lifeguard and team coverage across operating hours.
• Plan rotas in line with occupancy and demand.
• Maintain poolside cleanliness, water quality and presentation.
• Respond quickly to operational issues to minimise disruption.
• Support delivery of poolside activities and guest experiences.
• Supervise lifeguards and pool team on shift; provide coaching.
