National Highways is seeking a Senior Network Planner - Resilience to lead resilience, emergency and severe weather response planning. The role drives process development, best practice adoption and improvements, with liaison across operations and external partners to minimise customer impact.

The position is hybrid, based from Bristol or Exeter, with travel as required. Driving is essential and a clean licence with no more than three points is needed during recruitment and employment.

Qualifikationen

• Experience in contingency and business continuity planning.
• Knowledge of Civil Contingency Act 2004 (desirable).
• Ability to implement crisis management procedures and policies.

• Lead development of resilience, emergency and severe weather response plans.
• Develop and recommend best practice methods for ongoing improvements of processes.
• Liaise with regional Operations and external stakeholders to minimise impact on customers.
• Manage Network Resilience funding and prioritise schemes aligned to risk.
• Provide advice and consultancy during emergencies.
