National Highways is seeking a Senior Network Planner - Resilience to lead resilience, emergency and severe weather response planning. Hybrid role based from Bristol or Exeter, with travel as needed. You will drive development of processes, ensuring best practice and customer benefit.

The role requires leadership, advisory capabilities, and expertise in contingency and business continuity planning. Strong stakeholder management and knowledge of crisis procedures are essential.

Qualificações

• Experience in contingency and business continuity planning.
• Knowledge of Civil Contingency Act 2004 (desirable).
• Ability to implement company crisis management procedures and policies.

Responsabilidades

• Proactively analysing the effectiveness of existing plans and arrangements; manage risks and issues that affect delivery.
• Providing advice and consultancy to minimise the impact to Operations in emergencies.
• Developing and recommending best practice methods for ongoing improvement of processes and activities.
• Liaising with regional Operations colleagues and wider stakeholders to minimise impact of events on customers.
• Manage Network Resilience funding, identify schemes, liaise with service providers and prioritise funding aligned to risk.
• Experience in contingency and business continuity planning and understanding of business objectives for resilience.
• Knowledge of the Civil Contingency Act 2004 (desirable).
• Experience in creating and developing response plans including managing debriefs (desirable).
• Implement company crisis management procedures and policies.
