Job summary

Cambian Group Plc is recruiting a Residential Support Worker in our Children’s Services. You will help children and young people lead fulfilling lives, delivering high‑quality care and safeguarding in a supportive team environment.

You will work with individualized care plans, support daily living activities, promote positive behaviour, maintain records, and assist with reviews. A driving licence is essential, and flexibility with hours is expected.

Qualifications

• Genuine passion for working with children and young people.
• Driving licence is essential.
• Experience in residential care is desirable but not essential.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Support children with daily living activities, education, and recreation.
• Promote positive behaviour and provide emotional support to build self-esteem.
• Develop and follow individual care plans for each child.
• Safeguard and report concerns according to procedures.
• Maintain records and participate in reviews.
• Use electronic care recording systems daily.
