Job summary

The Cambian Group is seeking Residential Support Workers to join our Children’s Services. You will ensure the safety and well-being of children and young people, supporting daily living activities and education within a structured, caring environment.

You will work with a team to implement individualised care plans, promote positive behaviour, and help with life skills development while maintaining accurate records and reporting concerns under safeguarding procedures.

Qualifications

• Driving licence is essential.
• Excellent communication skills are required.
• Able to work well in a team and independently.
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and sleep-ins.
• Commitment to safeguarding and welfare of children.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people with daily living activities, including personal care, education and recreation.
• Promote positive behaviour and provide emotional and practical support to build self-esteem.
• Build trusting relationships and maintain consistent care.
• Follow care plans and ensure needs are met per individual requirements.
• Recordkeeping and reporting in line with safeguarding and organisational standards.
