Job summary

Cambian Group Plc is seeking a dedicated Children's Residential Support Worker to provide compassionate support to young people in a residential setting. You will build meaningful relationships, help organise activities, and support education and wellbeing as part of a caring team.

Flexibility is essential; you will work in a dynamic home environment, assist with daily tasks, and participate in training provided to ensure best outcomes for the young people in your care.

Qualifications

• Minimum age 21 years old
• Full UK driving licence
• No prior experience required, passion for young people
• Attendance at a two-week training program
• Must be available for sleep-in shifts

Responsibilities

• Provide emotional support during challenging times
• Foster ambition and support personal goals
• Support educational pursuits of young people
• Maintain accurate records and written reports
• Empower participation in decisions about their lives
• Advocate for the young person in meetings
• Encourage community engagement and off-site activities
• Meet needs and maintain the home and daily tasks (laundry, cooking, cleaning, shopping)
