Job summary

Cambian Group seeks a Residential Support Worker to provide high-quality care for children and young people in a residential setting. You will support daily living activities, education and recreation, and help implement individual care plans to support development and emotional needs.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, safeguarding the welfare of children and recording progress in accordance with organisational standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in residential care or children's services is desirable but not essential.
• Excellent communication with children, families, and colleagues.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Support children and young people with daily living activities and routines.
• Promote positive behaviour and provide emotional and practical support.
• Build trusted, professional relationships with children and teams.
• Implement individual care plans and monitor progress and goals.
• Safeguard children and report concerns promptly.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
