Job summary

Cambian Group is seeking a motivated Support Worker to help young people aged 8–18 in a countryside home in the West Midlands. You will support daily routines, supervision, activities and record keeping to ensure safe, caring, and stimulating environments.

Ideal candidates hold NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare, have a full UK driving license, and at least two years' residential care experience. A supportive team and comprehensive induction await you.

Qualifications

• NVQ Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent.
• Full UK driving licence required.
• Minimum 2 years' experience in a residential setting.

Responsibilities

• Support young people with daily routines (school prep, meals, activities).
• Create a warm, homely environment with light housekeeping.
• Lead shifts and deputise the home manager.
• Build strong relationships and provide emotional support.
• Plan and join trips and creative activities.
• Keep essential records to ensure high-quality care.
