Job summary

Compass Community Limited is seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker in Hull to help children experience childhood with care and respect. You will support daily activities, monitor health and wellbeing, and work with a team to provide a stable, nurturing environment.

Previous experience is not essential, with full induction and Level 3 Diploma path offered. You’ll participate in safeguarding, reports, and timetables, with opportunities for progression and professional development within

Qualifications

• Must be 22 years or older (to meet Ofsted regulations).
• Caring and compassionate with ability to build positive relationships.
• Has a valid manual driving licence.
• Able to stay calm in challenging situations.

Responsibilities

• Support children’s activities and appointments, safeguarding their health and wellbeing.
• Meet a variety of children and young people, some needing high levels of supervision.
• Assist with domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking and food shopping.
• Create timetables, manage paperwork and write reports.
