Compass Community Limited is seeking a dedicated Residential Support Worker to help improve the lives of children in care. The role offers training through Skills to Care and potential career progression to a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 12 months.

You will assist with activities, provide high level supervision as needed, and support the team with everyday tasks and report writing. Above all, you’ll focus on building trust and lasting relationships with young people.

Competenze

• Age 22 years or older to meet Ofsted regulations.
• Careful, compassionate and able to build positive relationships.
• Has a valid manual driving licence.
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

Mansioni

• You will help facilitate children's activities and appointments, supporting them in all aspects of their lives.
• You will meet a variety of children and young people, some requiring high levels of supervision and support.
• You will support the wider team with domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and food shopping.
• You will create timetables, manage paperwork and write reports.
