Compass Community Limited is seeking Residential Support Workers to join a children’s home where every child is valued and supported to build confidence and resilience. The role emphasizes forming positive, trusting relationships while delivering consistent care and safeguarding.

Training starts with two weeks of classroom-based learning plus shadow shifts to prepare for the role. You will work with a team to create structured activities, support health and wellbeing, and help children navigate

Qualifications

• Is 22 years of age or above (to meet Ofsted regulations).
• Is caring, compassionate and able to build positive relationships with others.
• Has a valid manual driving licence.
• Has the ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate children’s activities and appointments, supporting them in all aspects of their lives. Ensure their health and wellbeing, safeguarding them at all times.
• Meet a variety of children and young people, some of whom may require high levels of supervision and support.
• Support the wider team with domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and food shopping.
• Create timetables, manage paperwork and write reports.
