Compass Community Limited is seeking a Residential Support Worker to help children in our homes. You will support daily activities, health and wellbeing, safeguarding, and building positive relationships in a nurturing, non-judgemental environment.

No prior experience is required; our Skills to Care induction includes two weeks of classroom training and a week of shadow shifts to prepare you for the role. You will pursue a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, achievable within 12 months,

Qualifications

• Must be aged 22 or over to meet Ofsted regulations.
• Caring, compassionate and able to build positive relationships.
• Valid manual driving licence.
• Ability to remain calm in challenging situations.

Responsabilités

• Facilitate children’s activities and appointments, supporting them in all aspects of their lives and safeguarding their health and wellbeing.
• Meet a variety of children and young people, some requiring high levels of supervision.
• Assist the wider team with domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking and food shopping.
• Create timetables, manage paperwork and write reports.
