Job summary

Compass Community Limited is seeking Residential Support Workers to help children in our homes. The role is suitable for experienced Residential/Youth Workers or newcomers eager to build a career in residential care, with a focus on creating positive relationships and supporting a child’s journey into adulthood.

You will facilitate activities, monitor wellbeing, and work with the team on paperwork and reports.

Qualifications

• No prior experience required for this role.
• Training through Skills to Care induction: 2 weeks classroom and 1 week shadow shifts.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate children’s activities and appointments, support health and wellbeing, and safeguard at all times.
• Meet a variety of children and young people and provide appropriate supervision.
• Support the team with domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking and shopping.
• Create timetables, manage paperwork and write reports.
