Job summary

SCR is seeking passionate Childrens Support Workers for a flexible full-time role to join our team in the United Kingdom. You will deliver a high standard of care and support the Young Persons emotional wellbeing, helping maximise their choices, rights and decisions.

Applicants must have a full UK driving licence and at least 6 months experience in a similar setting; Level 3 in Health & Social Care/Children & Young People is preferred but not essential.

Qualifications

Job description

We are looking for passionate Childrens Support Workers who are available to work on a flexible full time basis.

As a Childrens Support Worker you will work as part of a team to deliver a high standard of care at all times and support the Young Persons emotional wellbeing. You recognise that the role is to help support service users maximise their choices, rights and decisions.

The successful candidate must have:

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care/Children & Young People is great but not essential
• 6 months minimum experience working in a similar setting
• Empathetic people person who is non-judgemental and calm
• Dedicated and committed with a "can-do" attitude

If you meet the above specification then the successful applicant will be rewarded with:

• Flexible working hours on a rota basis including sleep-ins if needed.

The successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
