Job summary

SCR is seeking passionate Childrens Support Workers to join on a flexible basis in the United Kingdom. You will work with a team to deliver high-quality care and support the emotional wellbeing of young people, helping them exercise choices and rights.

The role requires a valid UK driving licence, and experience in similar settings is preferred. You will benefit from excellent pay, supplements, flexible hours, and potential permanent positions, with safeguarding checks in place.

Qualifications

• Hold a full UK driving licence is required.
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care/Children & Young People is beneficial but not essential.
• Around 6 months experience in a similar setting is preferred.
• Demonstrates empathy, non-judgemental approach and calm demeanour.
• Shows dedication with a proactive, can-do attitude.

Job description

We are looking for passionate Childrens Support Workers who are available to work on a flexible basis.

As a Childrens Support Worker you will work as part of a team to deliver a high standard of care at all times and support the Young Persons emotional wellbeing. You recognise that the role is to help support service users maximise their choices, rights and decisions.

The successful candidate must have;

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care/Children & Young People is great but not essential
• 6 months experience working in a similar setting
• Empathetic people person who is non-judgemental and calm
• Dedicated and committed with a “can-do” attitude
