Job summary

SCR is seeking passionate Childrens Support Workers in Birmingham to join a flexible full-time team. You will support young people’s emotional wellbeing, promote rights and choices, and deliver care to a high standard.

You’ll have the ability to work on a rota with flexible hours including sleep-ins if needed. A full UK driving licence is preferred and prior experience in similar settings is welcome.

Qualifications

• Full UK driving licence
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care/Children & Young People (great but not essential)
• 6 months minimum experience in similar setting
• Empathetic and non-judgemental
• Can-do attitude

As a Childrens Support Worker you will work as part of a team to deliver a high standard of care at all times and support the Young Persons emotional wellbeing. You recognise that the role is to help support service users maximise their choices, rights and decisions.

• Hold a full UK driving licence
• Level 3 in Health & Social Care/Children & Young People is great but not essential
• 6 months minimum experience working in a similar setting
• Empathetic people person who is non-judgemental and calm
• Dedicated and committed with a "can-do" attitude

The successful applicant will be required to undergo an enhanced disclosure from the Criminal Records Bureau.
