Residential Property Senior Associate – 5+ PQE

Salary £60,000 - £70,000 + (bonus)

Location: Essex, Romford

A excellent multi-office firm with offices across Essex is looking for a Senior Property Solicitor to join their strong team in their Essex based Head Office. The firm is well known for their friendly environment and good quality work, with a traditional set-up and a very strong local offering. Typical matters in their residential property team include a wide variety of purchases and sales for high value freeholds and leaseholds making this the ideal role for a Solicitor that enjoys a focus on quality over quantity.

As renumeration this firm is able to offer a competitive salary and a generous individual "Profit Related Pay Bonus Scheme" above market norms. They offer an excellent work/life balance with reasonable billing targets and hybrid working for the right candidate.

Responsibilities

• Manage a diverse caseload of residential property matters to include leasehold and freehold matters
• Support junior members of staff in developing their careers and managing cases, with excellent supervision
• Attend client meetings, court hearings and conferences
• Deal directly with clients to take instructions and ensure full understanding in order to deliver on client expectations

Skills and Experience / Qualifications

• UK qualified Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive, with 5+ years PQE (other levels will be considered on a case by case basis)
• Experience managing a wide variety of residential property matters
• Ability to lead in relevant matters and supervise junior members of staff when needed
• A passionate personality with an enthusiasm for personal development
• Strong interpersonal skills when dealing with clients and colleagues
