Job summary

Places for People is seeking a professional House Manager for a Kings Lodge development in Greater London. You will be the welcoming face for residents and visitors, delivering outstanding service while ensuring the building is safe and well-kept.

The role requires front-of-house experience in high-end residential settings, CCTV and visitor-access duties, and a proactive approach to maintenance, health and safety, and resident communications.

Qualifications

• Front of House/concierge experience in high-end residential buildings
• Experience monitoring CCTV and managing visitor access
• Health and Safety qualification desired but not essential
• Calm, courteous and professional under pressure
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
• Honest, reliable, punctual, well-presented
• Able to use initiative and prioritise workload
• Confident handling complaints and difficult situations

Responsibilities

• Provide a warm, professional welcome to residents and guests
• Conduct regular building checks and patrols to keep areas clean and secure
• Handle queries, complaints and emergencies with calm professionalism
• Monitor CCTV and manage visitor access; report urgent issues to SPM
• Manage deliveries and post; notify residents and prevent safety issues
• Issue and log keys to contractors
• Address cleaning and maintenance proactively
• Follow fire safety and health and safety SOPs
• Collect and share resident meter reads monthly
• Report building repairs to the Senior Property Manager
