• Previous experience is not essential for this role. Skills to Care induction includes 2 separate weeks of classroom-based training and a week of shadow shifts.
• This role includes support to achieve a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare within 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate children’s activities and appointments, supporting health and wellbeing and safeguarding at all times.
• Meet a variety of children and young people, some requiring high levels of supervision and support.
• Support the wider team with domestic tasks such as cleaning, cooking, and food shopping.
• Create timetables, manage paperwork and write reports.
