Job summary

Daniel Owen Ltd. is seeking a Resident Liaison Officer in Preston to support a housing contractor on a local contract. You will be the on-site contact for residents during planned works and ensure clear updates and smooth communication throughout the project.

Key requirements include excellent face-to-face and telephone communication, social housing experience, a clean driving license, and a DBS clearance. This temporary post offers a stable six-to-seven month window with potential extension.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for residents during scheduled works.
• Inform residents and manage updates to ensure satisfaction.
• Respond to complaints and issues arising during works.
• Keep detailed reports of resident feedback.
• Attend site visits with the site manager and conduct progress surveys when required.

Resident Liaison Officer

Location: Preston

Contract: Temporary - 7 months initially (with potential to extend)

Hours: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm

Rate: £14 - £16 per hour dependent on experience

We are working with a leading contractor who work on behalf of housing providers across the country to deliver planned improvement works. They are looking for a resident liaison officer to service a contract for a local client in Preston.

As a resident liaison officer, you will;

• Be the first point of contact for residents during scheduled works
• Make sure that residents are informed and happy with all updates
• Respond to complaints and issues that arise
• Keep detailed reports of resident feedback
• Attend site visits with the site manager and conduct progress surveys when required

Requirements for the role;

• Have excellent face to face and telephone communication skills
• Have experience within social housing, and ideally construction/repairs teams
• Have a full clean driving licence and own vehicle
• Have a clean criminal record for DBS checks
