FIVE VILLAGES HOME ASSOCIATION LIMITED in Icklesham, East Sussex, is seeking a Housing Services Manager to oversee safe, welcoming independent living accommodation. The role blends resident contact with hands-on operational leadership, managing tenancy operations, property oversight and staff.

It is a permanent, on-site post offering a four-day week (32 hours) Mon-Thu and a salary of £38,000–£43,000 per annum.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing management or related resident-facing service.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating repairs or premises services.
• Active pursuit or holding a Level 5 qualification in housing or management.
• Strong communication, basic IT skills, tenancy management and safeguarding knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with residents and support independence.
• Manage lettings, tenancy admin and resident records.
• Supervise staff, coordinate rotas and training.
• Coordinate repairs, safety checks and building compliance.
• Monitor budgets and prepare board reports.
