Job summary

Housing 21 in the United Kingdom is seeking a Housing Manager to lead day-to-day housing management within an Extra Care scheme, ensuring safety, quality and resident autonomy.

You will oversee repairs, contractor relationships, tenancy management, and strive for value for money while delivering excellent customer service and engaging residents in activities.

This role includes flexible benefits and a nine-day fortnight arrangement.

Qualifications

• Proven housing management experience
• Strong understanding of health & safety and RoSH Regulations
• Experience of managing and scheduling property maintenance
• Excellent organisational skills, including tenancy management
• Level 4 Senior Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship / CIH Level 4 or willing to work towards if not held

Responsibilities

• Manage the day-to-day delivery of housing management services within a designated Extra Care scheme
• Oversee upkeep and maintenance of all properties within the scheme to meet high standards and regulatory compliance
• Schedule repairs and manage contractor relationships with focus on value for money
• Deliver excellent customer service and ensure residents feel heard
• Welcome new residents and encourage engagement with activities and events
