Job summary

Five Villages Housing Association in Icklesham, East Sussex, is seeking a Housing Services Manager to lead resident services and on-site operations. This permanent role covers 32 hours per week over four days (Mon–Thu, 08:00–16:30).

Salary £38,000–£43,000 per annum, with a four-day week and on-site duties. The post involves balancing resident services with staff leadership, tenancy management and property oversight.

Qualifications

• Experience in housing management or related resident-facing service.
• Experience supervising staff and coordinating repairs or premises services.
• Willingness to work towards a Level 5 qualification in housing or management.
• Clear communication, sound judgment and familiarity with tenancy management, safeguarding and building safety.

Responsibilities

• Build positive relationships with residents and support community involvement.
• Manage lettings, tenancy administration, resident records and day-to-day housing enquiries.
• Supervise staff, coordinate rotas and training.
• Coordinate repairs, contractors, safety checks and building compliance records.
• Monitor budgets and prepare reports for the Board.
