Job summary

Housing 21 is seeking a proactive Housing Manager to lead the day-to-day housing management within an Extra Care scheme in Thatcham. You will ensure safe, well-maintained homes and deliver high-quality, person-centred services that support residents to live with dignity and autonomy.

Qualifications

• Proven housing management experience.
• Strong understanding of health & safety and RoSH Regulations.
• Experience of managing and scheduling property maintenance.
• Excellent organisational skills, including tenancy management.
• Level 4 Senior Housing & Property Management Apprenticeship / CIH Level 4 or willing to work towards if not held.

Responsibilities

• As Housing Manager, you will manage the day to day delivery of housing management services within a designated Extra Care scheme.
• Ensure properties are safe, well-maintained and meet the needs and wants of our residents, enabling them to live well with dignity and autonomy.
• Oversee upkeep and maintenance of all properties within the scheme, ensuring 100% compliance with regulations and value for money.
• Scheduling repairs and managing contractor relationships, focusing on high standards and value for money.
• Customer service oriented: welcome new residents to the scheme and encourage engagement with activities and events.
