Unite Group is hiring a Student Safety Team Member to help create a welcoming, safe environment for residents and visitors. You’ll handle check-ins, viewings, and day-to-day requests, contributing to a vibrant student community.

You’ll work as part of the property team, providing friendly service, resolving issues, and supporting events to drive occupancy and a positive resident experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in customer service, hospitality, retail or residential environment.
• Enjoy working with people and delivering great customer experiences.
• Have strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Be proactive, organised and comfortable working in a busy and varied environment.
• Be confident handling enquiries, complaints and resident requests.
• Enjoy working as part of a team and supporting colleagues when needed.
• Experience in student accommodation, hospitality or residential environments would be beneficial but isn't essential.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, face-to-face customer service to residents and visitors, responding to enquiries and resolving issues.
• Support the full resident journey, including check-ins, check-outs and day-to-day resident support.
• Deliver property viewings and support bookings, helping drive occupancy and retention.
• Support resident engagement activities, helping create a welcoming and vibrant community.
• Respond to maintenance issues, making safe where required and raising requests for resolution.
• Carry out building checks and support safety procedures, ensuring the property remains safe and compliant.
• Support emergency response procedures when required.
• Maintain high property standards, ensuring communal areas are clean, safe and well presented.
• Work collaboratively with colleagues to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Record enquiries, cases and operational issues accurately within internal systems.
