Job summary

Places for People is seeking a proactive Concierge for the Chelsea Creek development in London. You will be the first point of contact for residents and visitors, delivering exemplary service while ensuring the building remains safe, secure, and pleasant to live in.

Responsibilities include greeting guests, conducting daily checks, handling inquiries and emergencies, monitoring CCTV, and managing deliveries with strict adherence to procedures. Flexible discussion on hours may be considered.

Qualifications

• Front of House experience in residential or hospitality setting
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Calm, courteous, and professional under pressure
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Honest, reliable, punctual, and well-presented
• Able to use initiative and prioritise workload
• Confident handling complaints and difficult situations

Responsibilities

• Providing a warm, professional welcome to all residents and guests
• Conducting regular building checks and patrols ensuring communal areas are clean and secure
• Handling queries, complaints, and emergencies with calm and courtesy
• Monitoring CCTV and managing visitor access
• Managing deliveries and post in line with company procedures
• Issuing and logging keys responsibly
• Proactively addressing cleaning and maintenance issues
