Job summary

Confidential is recruiting a Repairs Planner to join a busy team in Thame on a temp-to-perm basis. The role suits an organised, proactive individual with strong admin and communication skills in a fast-paced environment.

You will schedule repairs, allocate jobs to engineers, liaise with customers and internal teams, monitor progress and keep accurate records. Full training and ongoing support are provided, with opportunities to develop your skills within the repairs and maintenance team.

Qualifications

• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• Previous experience in planning, scheduling, administration or customer service is desirable but not essential.
• A positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Schedule and coordinate repairs and maintenance appointments.
• Allocate jobs to engineers and operatives, ensuring workloads are managed efficiently.
• Liaise with customers, contractors and internal teams to confirm appointments and provide updates.
• Monitor job progress and rearrange appointments where necessary.
• Respond to customer queries and resolve scheduling issues.
• Maintain accurate records of jobs, appointments and completed works.
• Ensure urgent repairs are prioritised and deadlines are met.
