Job summary

Confidential in Croydon is seeking an experienced Repairs Planner to join a busy Property Services team. You will plan and coordinate repairs, allocating jobs efficiently and ensuring timescales are met.

This office-based, temporary-to-permanent opportunity offers immediate start and a pay rate of £17.00 per hour. You will liaise with residents, operatives and contractors and maintain accurate records to support a high-quality repairs service.

Qualifications

• Experience as Repairs Planner/Scheduler/Coordinator or similar role.
• Experience in social housing or property maintenance is desirable.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Proven ability to manage a busy workload and prioritise tasks.

Responsibilities

• Plan and schedule repairs and maintenance appointments for operatives and contractors.
• Allocate jobs based on priority, location, and availability.
• Update the repairs system with accurate information and records.
• Liaise with residents to arrange and confirm appointments.
• Communicate with operatives and contractors to track progress.
• Monitor outstanding repairs and reschedule as needed to minimise missed appointments.
