Pertemps Bristol Commercial is seeking a structured and customer-focused Rental Service Controller in Wick. You will support a team of field service engineers, coordinate service requirements and act as the first contact for customers, ensuring responsive and efficient service across the business.

Reporting to the Rental Service Manager, the role emphasises organisation, proactive problem-solving and teamwork.

Formación

• Excellent organisational and communication skills.
• Professional and confident telephone manner.
• Previous customer service experience.
• Good IT skills, particularly Excel, Word and Outlook.
• Ability to multitask, prioritise workloads and work under pressure.
• Willingness to learn new systems and processes.
• Proactive approach to problem-solving and customer service.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilidades

• Act as first point of contact for service-related enquiries from customers.
• Handle service and breakdown calls and emails.
• Arrange service visits and keep customers informed throughout.
• Coordinate engineer attendance and plan preventative maintenance.
• Maintain accurate records of breakdowns and service visits.
• Liaise with field service engineers to schedule and complete jobs.
• Collaborate with supervisors and other departments to meet requirements.
• Monitor service requests and help minimise downtime.
• Maintain high standards of communication with colleagues and customers.
• Provide general administrative support to the service team.
