Job summary

Co-op Legal Services is seeking a Will Writer to draft wills and assist with estate planning, with remote UK-wide work and on-site options. The role offers a salary of £25,000 to £28,000 per year, dependent on experience, plus excellent benefits.

You will advise clients on estate planning matters, take client instructions, and manage a caseload in a supportive team. The position provides progression opportunities and exposure to diverse cases.

Qualifications

• Experience drafting wills and advising on estate planning matters.
• Experience drafting wills across a range of complexities and more technically complex estate planning matters.
• Proven experience managing cases with varying complexities and meeting billing/productivity targets.
• Ability to build positive relationships and provide outstanding customer service.
• High level of attention to detail and ability to prioritise/manage own caseload.

Responsibilities

• Document and draft wills and powers of attorney, and other estate planning documentation with accuracy.
• Communicate with clients and external partners via phone and written correspondence.
• Manage incoming caseload and drive towards successful completion with all parties.
• Maintain client records and correspondence, ensuring regulatory and compliance standards are met.
